Occupational health and safety (OHS) refers to the legislation, policies, procedures and activities that aim to
protect the health, safety and welfare of all people at the workplace. SPC Services NSW Pty Ltd’ responsibilities include
maintaining a safe work environment and a current workers compensation insurance policy to protect the workers
from financial hardship in the event of a workplace injury. SPC Services NSW Pty Ltd’ takes responsibility of claim process
and assistance of the injured workers in order for them to return to the work safely. SPC Services NSW Pty Ltd’ training
system ensures the workers to be aware of all hazards that arise from the work environment such as;
- Physical eg .noise, radiation, light, vibration
- Chemical eg. Poisons, dusts
- Biological/electrical eg. Slips, trips and falls, tools, electrical equipment
- Psychological eg. Fatigue, violence, bullying
As part of OHS process, SPC Services NSW Pty Ltd provides work safe Method statement (WSMS), to the workers to make sure that they are under control of every possible incident that happen at the work environment.
